About RoastClock

RoastClock helps home cooks land a roast on the table exactly on time. It's not just another weight-to-time calculator — it's a reverse planner. Tell it when dinner is, and it runs the clock backwards: thaw deadline, preheat, in the oven, pull, rest, carve, serve.

We built RoastClock because every Thanksgiving and every Sunday roast, cooks redo the same backward math under stress — and the existing tools only answer half the question. They tell you how long, not when to start.

Our approach

Every cooking time on RoastClock is triangulated against at least two authoritative sources — primarily the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA). Times are estimates; we always recommend verifying doneness with a meat thermometer.
